Once upon a time, one Christmas Eve,
Jason got some presents, yippee
yippee!
A pillow, a sweatshirt, and "Oh
look,"
Seinfeld on DVD, and America: The
Book
Also two Xbox games, Fable and Halo 2
He liked everything so much; he
didn't know what to do
He ran to his Xbox and popped in
Fable
He was so excited his hands were
unstable
Oh so Jason played for a while, boy
was it great
But alas he believed it was time for
a break
So he went to see if there was anyone
online
Alone he was... It's Halo 2 time!
He dashed to the package and tore it
apart,
He wanted to play it, he knew it in
his heart
Jason quickly opened the case, only
to see
Sadly that there was no Halo 2 CD
There was half of a manual and a CD-R
disc
"Creed Weathered" it said, crossed
out was "Dance-Mix"
Oh Jason was confused, oh how could
this be?
Everything was in order, or so it
would've seemed
Someone out there, he doesn't know
who
Has his copy of Halo 2
So Jason sat there with a frown
Looking at the garbage that laid on
the ground
Oh how could Jason be so naïve?
There would be no Halo 2 on this
Christmas Eve
But then something happened,
something changed
Like the chemicals in his mind were
being rearranged
His frown to a smile and his spirit
shooting high
He began to laugh and fell to his
side
Jason laughed and laughed, rolling on
the floor
Kept laughing and laughing and yes, a
little more
But why you ask? Because he knew...
Christmas was not about Halo 2
It's about love and happiness, but
not to be too mushy
It's also about fun and joy and a
Christmas cookie
So Jason sat down to write, and out
came
The story of the Grinch who stole his
game
And for you to see, what Jason has
done
All that is needed is to refer to
line one
For if you have asked, "Who is he?"
Yes oh yes, Jason is me
And soon I will be off to bed for the
night
So to all a good
Christmas, and to all a goodnight |
