I'd tell you what Freestyle Walking is, but doesn't that defeat the purpose of the "What Is?" section?

A note to fellow FSW faithfuls,

As you are aware, there has yet to be any updates for 2006 and I am sad to inform you there will be none.  Here and now I am officially announcing my retirement from Freestyle Walking.  For multiple reasons, FSW is no longer something that I can do on a regular basis.  No, I'm not paralyzed, but sometimes things just don't always go the way you'd wish.  I am by no means saying there will never be more FSW updates, but as for any type of regular schedule, that is out of the question.  My apologies to anyone who was hoping for updates this season.  Continue to check out this page in the future, for I am an avid supporter of FSW and the FSW community and will use this site to portray that.  Thank you.
