Life in the Upper Midwest

Introduction

Welcome to Life in the Upper Midwest!

You may be wondering, what is this Life in the Upper Midwest (LUM) section all about?  Well, let me tell you, it is about everything that makes this part of the country great, as well as what makes it stupid. 

Then there's us.  We do both of those.

This is different from most events, in that there isn't a set event held.  This isn't Nerf Wars, or Xtreme Sledding, or FSW, or anything like that.  This is what we do for our own entertainment.  This is what we do for fun in the upper midwest. 

Contrary to popular belief, we do have electricity, as well as those strange horseless carriages.  However, most people say that there is nothing to do here.  They say it is boring.  They say we are nothing but a flat, frozen, barren landscape that could almost be reclassified as The New Frontier. 

What these people don't realize is that you have to make your own fun here, and that is not only more rewarding, but leads to far more entertainment than most other kinds. 

So sit back and enjoy Life in the Upper Midwest.  Lord knows that we are forced to.
