I saw her lifeless body being put into the ambulance. As you can see in the comments posted, she eventually died. There is now a memorial on the corner for her that I can see from my window.
I don't blame the driver for a second. The intersection always has accidents. I suppose it was just a matter of time before a car hit someone. Oddly, I really don't know how to make the intersection any safer. It is just one of those things.
It's just messed up.
